DraftKings users can now access improved parlay odds through a new subscription service costing $20 per month, as initially reported by Sportico.
Max 100% Enhancement
Named DraftKings Sportsbook+, currently available only in New York, the subscription provides "Unlimited 'Stepped Up' Boost Tokens" 30 minutes after subscribing, applicable to parlays and same game parlays. Participants can receive up to a full 100% profit enhancement on successful parlays (11 legs or more).
DraftKings is the inaugural sportsbook to provide a subscription service. News reports indicate that the service was discreetly launched in New York on December 28.

Elevated New York Taxation
In an announcement, the firm mentioned:
"The subscription service was designed to offer our customers an enhanced fan experience, creating more excitement and value to our extensive parlay offering.”
As mentioned in September, DraftKings CEO Jason Robins stated he would explore different options to bypass regions with elevated sports betting taxes – such as New York, which has a tax rate of 51%.
In August, DraftKings suggested introducing a tax on winning bets in states with elevated tax rates but discarded the plan within two weeks.
Significant Surge in Popularity of Parlays
DraftKings has not provided any updates on the launch of the subscription service in additional states. Ultimately, players can place longer shot bets that may become more profitable. Parlay wagers represent a quickly growing segment of profitability for sportsbooks, partly due to the vigorous marketing efforts from companies such as DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM.
Flutter Entertainment, the parent company of FanDuel, reported that globally, more than 262 million 'Same Game' wagers were placed in the final quarter of 2023 across Flutter's main brands—nearly 75% higher than in the corresponding timeframe of 2022.
