Sports betting data provider Sportradar announced it is launching a new AI-driven audio advertising platform for its casino and sportsbook customers.
The latest generative AI solution enhances the Swiss firm's extensive multichannel marketing service. Gaming firms, such as sportsbook operators, can utilize the new Sportradar service to craft tailored advertisements during live matches that may resonate with bettors and possibly boost the overall handle.
"Gen AI audio provides operators with a ready-to-use audio marketing solution, allowing them to generate creative content during key sporting and gaming moments to efficiently scale advertising efforts into podcast streaming services and internet radio networks,” according to a statement issued by Sportradar.
The firm boasts a remarkable collection of agreements with professional sports leagues and offers data on over 80 sports across 150 leagues in 120 nations, featuring some of the biggest sports leagues in North America.
Sportradar Latest Data Firm to Utilize AI
Sportradar’s AI-driven advertising solution is introduced as an increasing number of data providers are utilizing this technology to enhance their range of services for clients.
Earlier this year, competitor Genius Sports revealed a deal with Elon Musk’s X to utilize AI for delivering advertisements linked to particular discussions and trending subjects on the social media site. Sportradar is providing enhanced AI-driven customization options that may attract clients from the gaming industry.
“AI-generated audio adverts are the latest addition to Sportradar’s comprehensive, industry-leading, end-to-end marketing services, driving brand awareness, acquisition and retention across channels including programmatic display, video, audio, digital-out-of-home (DOOH), paid social media, paid search, sponsorships and affiliate marketing,” added Sportradar in the statement.
The company has utilized AI before in its long-term collaboration with the NBA, employing technology and machine learning models to improve engagement for bettors and fans.

Although AI is still in its nascent stages and numerous challenges must be addressed before wider acceptance can occur, generative AI is comparatively advanced and is the most accessible and widely accepted version of the technology.
